What is your natural hair colour? Do you dye it or go to the salon?

My natural hair color is black. I go to the salon to dye it. I treat my hair really well and baby it. I don’t think the on shelf products are good enough and I don’t think I can do a good enough job myself. The salon I go to uses organic types of dye that is supposed to be better for your hair and less chemicals. I’ve been nothing but happy with it!

How often do you wash your hair?

Everyday that I have events going on or need to see people or have a date. So almost every day. It depends on my agenda. My hair is super greasy and oily. If I don’t wash it for a day, you’ll already see the oily strands on my bangs and top of my head. It looks terrible and I tend to leave my hair down so it’s a big no no!

Do you wear the same style everyday or change it?

I wear generally the same style. I have my hair down and it’s either straight or curled.

How often do you change your nail polish?

I wear nail polish almost always unless I don’t have time to redo them. I change it every 2-4 weeks depending if it’s a regular mani or a gel mani. I’m pretty good with taking care of my nails so my manicures usually last a while. Gel manis last up to 4 weeks for me and they’re not even that chipped! It’s just cracked or it doesn’t look good because my cuticles are growing out.

How long does it take you to do your makeup?

This really depends. I’m not huge on my face. Meaning I won’t feel bad going out without foundation and concealer. If it’s just my eyes, brows, and lips – I can do it in 10-15 minutes. If I add in a bit of concealer and eyelashes probably 10-20 depending. My whole face can take up to 45 minutes.

Do you ‘collect’ make up or just buy what you need when you need it?

I don’t collect make up intentionally because I feel like it’s such a waste of product as it does have expiration dates! However, I will have more than I need. A lot of times when I feel like a product isn’t quite working 100% for me, I won’t hesitate to get a new product. Or if a new product comes out and I want to try it, I won’t hesitate to buy it either.

How often do you wear false eyelashes?

I wear falsies often for night outs, events, or photoshoots. For every day, I prefer more natural and bare make up. I love getting lash extensions from time to time though because it’s a boost while looking super natural! (provided you get the natural looking type)

Will you leave the house without make up?

Yeah. I’ve done so plenty of times, especially if I’m just going to the gym or dance practice. But usually I would try to at least put on a bit of eyeliner.

Do you wear make up when you are home alone/with family?

If I’m home alone, I won’t wear make up, unless I’m trying out different make up looks for fun. With family, I won’t particularly put it on for them either. I actually prefer my face make up free and let it breath whenever possible!

Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you’re getting up?

I try to plan my OOTD the night before because sometimes it can take me FOREVER to put together an outfit that I like. However, if I have time the next day before heading out, I would be ok with planning my outfit the day of. It all depends.

How often do you change your handbag?

I have so many bags! But really, bags phase out on me. I become obsessed with my most recent purchase and use it daily. Then, when the phase is over, I will rotate bags again. Then, I’ll buy a new bag and become obsessed with it again and the cycle never ends. So I guess it depends.

Do you speak a foreign language?

Yes. I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. I can read and write a bit of Japanese as well since I took 4 years of Japanese in High School.

Do you keep a list of products to try as you read other blogs?

I usually keep a mental list. I think I’m too lazy to write it all down.

How did you come up with your blog name?

I know its not very original. But I wanted something with my name. And well… it’s hard doing something that includes my name in it. It was also just what I had for my youtube for quite some time. So I wanted to keep everything the same.

What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?

I use my iPhone 6 right now. Still playing around with photography and lighting, as well as editing!
